MOIRA IS A COUNSELLOR, LIFE & LEADERSHIP COACH OFFERING AN INTEGRATED AND INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO MENTAL WELL-BEING
I have 30+ years of working on all levels of health and well-being. This includes physical, mental and psycho-social aspects. I have managed Occupational health Clinics, Coached and Counselled people from diverse backgrounds and settings. Working as a trauma Counsellor has helped me explore trauma and its impact on individuals and how it can be used to transform individuals, by focussing on post-traumatic growth. My life has also been intertwined with nature as a landscaper and naturalist during which time I have led teams and upskilled unemployed people. In addition I have facilitated Mindful Walks in Nature for many private clients, entrepreneurs and those working in Corporates and NGO’s.
I work in a holistic manner considering all aspects of the client, the organisation and the contexts of the team members as I believe all is integrated and connected. Knowledge too, needs to be integrated, as change can only be experienced through doing it oneself. I have had the privilege of 3 years of Psychophonetics training, which works on a somatic level with body, mind and spirit during which I have done the inner work that enabled me to experience the transformation that I offer. I believe this is always a work in progress so continue to add to techniques that are useful for transformation, each one experienced by myself.
My deep inner journey, life experience, years of academic training and intuition is what I bring to sessions. It is however my absolute conviction that the most important aspect of meaningful change, is for me as a Counsellor| Coach, to assist you to connect to your inner wisdom, which is your ultimate guide.

Specialist Trauma Certification, Dipl. Nursing/ Midwifery.
